IN MEMORIAM . . . . a derby hat, a B-W sweater . . . and leather-lunged cheers-such is the memory of a man. A memory that brings to mind an attitude of service and spirit of a man for his fellow men. Myron W. Thornburg was affectionately called, The Beret: Breeze, because of his ardent support to all of our Yellow Jacket athletic events. Not weather, nor age, nor illness could quench his faithful devotion and colorfui spirit as he cheered his way through the years and into the heart of Baldwin-Wallace. Such devotion as his did not go unrecognized. He was made an honorary B-W cheerleader and Ietterman, and the i955 Grindstone was dedicated to him and to what he symbolized: good sportsmanship and the spirit of Baldwin-Wallace. On August 26, 1957, Myron W. Thornburg died. But the uBerea Breeze shall live forever within the heart of B-W . . . such loyalty, spirit, and devotion will not be forgotten.
