The German Department of the school grew until it was organized as a separate institution in 1864. Gerrnan Wallace College and Baldwin Universitywere united again in 1913, forming Baldwin- Wallace College.

The men and women of the Baldwin-Wallace faculty are the friends, instructors, and counselors of the students at Baldwin-Wallace. Over a hundred strong, they face the task of building learned adults out of girls and boys.
