Plain and Fancy Yesterday, a friend of my mother's Said, Dear, where do you go to school ?” And I answered, Baldwin.” And she said, What is it like?” And do you know, I could not— I truly was unable—to tell her? And inside the building there is increased complexity. Inside are people, collectively, and people, individually. Inside Did the bell ring? Are boarders Yes, get up Whose lives are divided You haven't got much time And subdivided never have much time By bells, into school We get those tests back And gym Are there Fundies? But given forty minutes A division, only forty minutes, but complete— The people will do different things, though the division is the same. Did you get the sheets?
