Class Song—1957 To ivy-covered buildings tall, where friendships have been born; To goals so highly raised for us, to which our lives arc sworn; These are the ties of loyalty to which we ll always cling As we, the class of '57, our senior song do sing, our senior song do sing. So swiftly has the time passed by, preparing us to know The separate ways we each must choose, when from these halls wc go. We are grateful to Miss Pabst for many things”—as specific illustration, we refer to her help in time of trouble with the selection of our class ring, the design of our sky- blue blazer, the composition of our song, To Ivy-covered Buildings Tall,” our presentation of senior skits, and the creation of Plain and Fancy.” These memories are inseparable from those of twinkling blue eyes . . . Once over lightly” ... the bookbag overflowing with papers . . . and Now class XII!” . . . the encouragement, the enthusiasm, and the exuberance with which Miss Pabst guided the Class of Blue from ’51 to ’57. 10
