WORKING TOWARD the betterment of the school and regulating the various activities on campus is Stu- dent Governrnent, Under the leadership of Mr. Rowe, Connie Olafson and her cabinet planned and started a new proiect, Operation Swimming Pool. The first money making activity toward this proiect was selling tickets to the opening football game. Prizes were offered to the students selling the most tickets, and during the football games an old bathtub was used for donations. All through the year Student Government sponsored many other activities. A great deal of planning went into Homecoming and following that, they sponsored Operation Big Switch, at which time the students took over the iobs of public officials and classroom teachers. Traffic Safety Week required extensive planning.
