The Freshman Class has been well represented on the Honor Roll, in musical activities and in athletics. Tbmmy Snow was on the first squad in basketball. Our freshman basketball team won the Intra-mural tournament. We also took an active part in the Carnival and other all school affairs. Our spring party, held April 17, was a hike and picnic. During the year we were sorry to lose Emhel Moody, Shirley Baker and Robert Grover, but we were happy to gain James Eichelberger. The Class of '50, under the guidance of Mrs. Martin, en- joyed a successful sophomore yeara During the first semester some of their activities were a hay-rack ride, and the sponsoring of several booths at the all school carnival. Second semester the group held a nSophomore Hopn and enjoyed a swimming party held in the college gymnasium. Although the class lost one of its old members, it gained three new ones, making a total of thirty-one. The Sophomore class excelled in scholastic ability, having the largest number of students on the MAN Honor Roll each six weeks. Several sophomore boys took part in the school athletic activities. Some of the girls, not to be out done by the boys, took top honors in the annual Girls' Play Day. A large number of the class were active members of the Music Department. The Class of '50 will never be found lacking loyalty and support for dear old B. H. S. 12
