The Class of '50, under the guidance of Mrs. Martin, en- joyed a successful sophomore yeara During the first semester some of their activities were a hay-rack ride, and the sponsoring of several booths at the all school carnival. Second semester the group held a nSophomore Hopn and enjoyed a swimming party held in the college gymnasium. Although the class lost one of its old members, it gained three new ones, making a total of thirty-one. The Sophomore class excelled in scholastic ability, having the largest number of students on the MAN Honor Roll each six weeks. Several sophomore boys took part in the school athletic activities. Some of the girls, not to be out done by the boys, took top honors in the annual Girls' Play Day. A large number of the class were active members of the Music Department. The Class of '50 will never be found lacking loyalty and support for dear old B. H. S. 12
