Robert Paynter Board of Directors The duties of the seven member school board which controls the Baldwin-Whitehall School Districts' educational system are man- aging supplies, preparing the budget, regu- lating salaries, and hiring teachers. This year Mr. Ernest Ott is serving as the president of the board. The school board meets regularly once a month and has many special committee meetings beside this. As the school year closes, we wish to thank them for their guid- ance. Supervising Principal For the past nine years. Dr. W. Robert Paynter has been the Supervising Principal of the Baldwin-Whitehall School District. From hearing him speak to us at various occasions, we know that he is a man devoted to his job and to us, as students. Dr. Paynter is a grad- uate of Pennsylvania State University and of the University of Pittsburgh where he received his Master of Education and Doctorate de- grees. 8
