CALENDAR, CONT.. International Harvester Family Party held in gym. Andrew at Baldwin...........h1story repeated itself. Lost Nation won two there. Junior and Senior High girls. Christmas tree decorated. Boys at Preston....lost 57-27. Chrlstmashprogram at Harmony Hall. Santa arrived, but not in time to hear uChr1stmas Voicesn. Christmas Party.....school dismissed at 1:50 for Christmas Vacation. No more classes, no more books. no more teachers' dirty looks. January Vacation Oh, g00dy..... Girls' County Tournament at Baldwin ---- Baldwin took second place. Movie. Semester Test week. Basketball at Onslow. CAll 'boat' of 'em lostl Monmouth at Baldwin ...... .BALDWIN BOYS WON! Mr. Ankeny treated B.B. boys to a pint of ice cream each. Boys lost to Bellevue 45-19 Mr. Olson and seniors had pictures taken in Cedar Rapids. Senior girls wore flashy sweaters and rings. Boys' County Tournament at Bellevue. We lost to Bellevue and Monmouth. Girls' Sectional Tournament at Morley ..... Baldwin lost to Olin. January l5.,.....Big,fat water tower vacation. FBUPUSPI Monmouth game postponed on account of ice and rain. Started Saturday school to make up lost days. Boys' Sectional Tournament at Elwood: lost to Elwood..62-12. Boys and girls at Sabula playing basketball ............. ....... Baldwin at Andrew ---- girls won in a rough and tough game. -Surprise birthday party for Leota Scott. ----- Beautifully decorated cake donated by Sue Scott. Ice Cream donated by Mr. Olson. P.T.A. March Played Monmouth and lost. Senior Class Pictures arrived. Boys and girls in afternoon basketball game. Boys won ---- Surprised? Boys and girls played Alumni ----- Girls wong boys lost. Junior Class cake auction. Visitors Day ---- Election Day ---- Big Snow Storm. 'Career Day in Maquoketa for Juniors and Seniors. Last day of Saturday school ..... .We hope. Leota Scott's third finger left hand is no longer bare. Vic is the lucky fellow, Jack Tournament finals: Judy Scott-firstg Sue Scott- secondg and Donna Scott-third ..... Free Throw Contest: Don Littell- Champion. Volley ball ln P.T. Good Friday ---- School dismissed early. Senior play practice begins, Sing sweetly, Darleen and Floyd. Oh, Mothahl Lucky Duane! Unlucky other fellows, Miss Blochwitg comes to school with a blinder. Monmouth sneak preview---nThe Fire Bugn. State Basketball Tournament at Iowa City--snow rain, candy, pop corn......wet? Yes! The Old Capitol was a favorite meeting place. Just where were yOu, Miss B? Talk1ng???????????? High school full of sleepy-heads....the two Ikes c0uldn't take it. Can tell it's Friday by the stormy weather. April April Fool's Day is past, and who's the beggest fool at last? Ping-Pong Tournament P.T.A.....One-act plays.

Last report cards.....How can we leave you, how can we from you part?,.,., Senior Class Play THE LITTLE CLODHOPPER Presented by the senior class April 26 Q 27, 1951 Cast S Septimus Green Floyd Clark 5 ,Q,u1i Ocey Gump John Lubben AQDQXQ ,gbqq.f?g George Chiggerson Don Littell Jwggqywk 'Q I L Mrs. Chiggerson-Boggs Dorothy Graves 8 ' L lf , Miss Julietta Bean Sue Scott t I Charmain Carter Leota Scott 'Q XB Judy Elliot Darleen Engel The Story The play opens in Miss Bean's boarding-house in the country where Judy is assisting in the kitchen. Mrs. Boggs arrives to take Judy to the city, but she refuses to go. A city actress, Charmain Carter, is in love with George Chiggerson and follows him to the country. She learns of the plot to marry him to Judy and falsely accuses Judy of being a thief. The second act takes place two months later in the city home of Mrs. Chiggerson-Boggs. George has married Charmain without his mothers' knowledge. After this, Judy is turned out in the stormmalone in the great city. She is rescued by the kind-hearted Ocey Gump who has married Miss Bean and is on his Hwedding tower.n The third act takes place in Mrs. Boggs home three weeks later. All ends happily with the scheming Mrs. Boggs gratefully accepting an offer to play the piano in a moving-picture show to be managed by George and Charmain. Judy finds her long lost, wealthy father.
