Girls asked the boys, and when the boy accepted, the girl sewed a patch on him to show that he was caught. The dance was in the Balboa gym. The former fall H10's, now L11's, presented the Junior Exclusive, Serenade In Spots, in the Balboa gym on October 18, 1956. Everyone was in semi-formal wear. It was Almost Paradise at the Junior Prom, for the Ll1's. That prom was a sell-out. Caused lots of grief for many students who wanted to attend and couldn't. The prom was at the Mark Hopkins Hotel in the Golden Empire Room on May 11. The spring 1,1l's sponsored the Record Breaking Booth at the Carnival. H10 and L11 classes are looking forward to the Fall Junior Exclusive. Mrs. Cohen, L11 class sponsor, thinks that it will be one ol' the most successful classes. She also believes that this class has been the most enthusiastic, co-operative, and one ol the most exciting groups that she has ever worked with. Shes looking forward to the great years ahead.
