I Alil O PEREZ VARY ANN BARRETO 1019 FORSYTI-I AI lf E TURNLR ll PI k I t I I I 1 cnt I DIC lx NORLNNONI if CHDR4 l- HUPRINS Ill lfr Fall Student Assnclallnn The fall term student goyernmcnt was concerned with football and the attempt to establish a good ing that term worked yery capably with other student body officers These officers tried to get their fellow students to clean up the school and campus They were yery successful in cirrying out this t1Slx Good cleanup helped the students of Balboi to get more rallies and better tssemblies During this term there were two excellent assem blies 'Ihe hrst was on Noxcmber 30 A guest from the Federal Bureau of Inyestigltion Mr Wfebber spoke to the students He w ls 1 special agent of the Bureau and gaxc in interesting 'Illx The other as sembly featured the yisrt of 1 boy of high school age who came from Berlin Germany His name was Wolf PM.-I 'IXXLLXI gang Bernhardt 1nd he spoke of the grelt freedom people in Amerrca possess He had lust come from the sex eral years Wolfgang was sent to America by the lreedom Foundation of Valley Forge Pennsyly ann Also during the term the students put on a theater party It wls giyen in the afternoon at the Granada Theater on Mission Street The purpose ot the theater party was to obtain enough money for a luke box for the school clfeteria The tickets for the show cost a half dollar The rest of the money needed for the pur chase of the Juke box was donated by the Parent Teachers Assoclltlon The yulce box was bought and placed in the cafetcril All the latest popular records were installed and the Parent Teachers Association set up a fund for the monthly purchase of new records ,Y 1 .I 1 V 4.
