W i T 30 The terminus of our vast campus was the Administration Building. Warren Hall, in which math and humanities classes were located, was dedicated to Chief Justice Earl Warren, Class of l908. The original campus start- ing with approximately one and a half acres has grown to more than twenty-five acres through some sixty-six sepa- rate purchases. New build- ings have replaced time worn ones. Growing from an enroll- ment of thirty students to more than tour thousand Bakers- field High School is now the largest high school in the state. Students of biology, chemistry, and physics classes were familiar with the Science Building.

The ATTENDANCE SECRETARIES devoted their time and energy to keeping attendance records, vali- dating readmittance slips and oft-campus permits. They also submitted monthly attendance reports to the state. The BUSINESS OFFICE was responsible tor the han- dling ot student finance. The bookkeepers kept ace counts ot the tinances ot student government and organizations. They also handled money collected trom the cafeteria and student store. Much ot the burden ot administering a school the magnitude of BHS and having as diverse a student body as ours, tell to the CLERICAL PERSONNEL.
