Counseling staff gave attention to Eloise Nelson, Dean of Girls Bonnye Deal, Director of Testing: George Daneluk, Assistant. Elwood Leaply, Attendance Counselor. I8 Eloise Nelson, DEAN OF GIRLS, worked with taculty and counselors in establishing administrative policies involving girl stu- dents. She also handled classroom and at- tendance problems and took charge ot group discipline conterences. The Dean's l ottice worked directly with the police de- partment on local problems involving Bl-IS girls and also maintained a sign-up list ot guests tor school dances. The DlRECTOR OF TESTING and her assistant administered general aptitude, achievement and vocational-interest tests. and supplied the taculty and counseling statt with results. She also gave individual tests to students having-special problems. Having charge ot vehicle registrations and entorcing trattic regulations, Elwood Leapley, ATTENDANCE COUNSELOR, co- l operated closely with the city police depart- ment. l-le also investigated students' unex- plained or extended absences by making house-calls.
