Social Science 1 his is an example of acculturation into a pathologically deviant sub-culture and .... Those who will not learn from history are doomed to repeat it, or words to that effect. The Social Sciences, in addition to satisfying curiosity, practice their disciplines in the hope that students will profit from the lessons of the past and present .... or at least study the lesson for tomorrow.
