When we were kids we looked forward to this day. It seemed so tar away, almost like it would never come. To us it was but in the realm of dreams, but now that dream is tullfilled. That dream is now reality. As kids we were bound together by a common goal. That goal has been reached. We now must strive for our own individual dreams, but where wilt they lead us? Here, come with me, let s take a ride into the luture on my magical carpet! As the mist and haze clear, we see that Baker is no longer a quiet little town, but a thriving met re j. hs, complete with the suburbs of Marmarth, Plevna, and Willard. As we take in all of the sights, we are quite amazed at the size, not only o: Baker, but of the sprawling suburb of Marmarth. But, enough of this! We are here on a mission! To seek out and discover everyone of the great class of ’85 and see what their future holds. Outside of Baker we see a cloud of dust. As we get nearer, we see that it is none other than the happily married LAVONNE WO- LENETZ, and as you can guess, she is still driving tractor for her dad! As we near town we see some commotion over on Baker Lake. Here we see TERESA HEISER, now producer of Day of Our Lives and LOUELLA HAGA, currently the writer of Days’ arguing over who gets thrown over to drown in a hot new scene in Days . Over on the shore we see TYE STUART, fishing and there he goes reaching for the cooler! He's the first multi-millionaire of our class to retire! Next we go and take a couple of mains. We see that CURT WILLIAMS'S partner BRETT HICKEY who is also his ace mechanic! As we take a closer look, we see that Curt is in the middle of negotiating the complete take over of the entire Cenex Corporation. Now we stop at the famed 4-Seasons, run by BRENDA BECHTOLD! Here we learned that she has just opened another branch of the 4-Seasons in Plevna. There on the table is the paper. The front page headlines read, Tim O Conner Karl Mueller Scandal! Tim O Conner was arrested and held without bail! It is suspected that he was Karl Mueller s accomplice! KARL MUELLER owns a chain of funeral homes and over the past two years he has been loosing money due mainly to the finding of a cure for cancer by regis- tered nurse TAMMY GAMRATH! So he hired Tim in hopes of bringing business back up. O'Conners’ attorney says that Tim will plead insanity! If this case is heard, he will be sent to Baker's very own funny farm where he will be evaluated by head nurse, MOLLY BAREFOOT! There is a rumor, but mind you, it is just a rumor! It is thought, though there is no evidence, that this whole scandal wasn t initiated by Karl Mueller. It is quite possible that he is on HEIDI PERRY’S pay-roll, and in case you didn’t know, she happens to be the infa- mous Crycptonite Tycoon of Marmarth, N. Dak. and possibly connected with the Mafia. She rules Marmarth with an iron fist! Known for a fact to be on her payroll is SUSAN DUNEMAN, her right hand man, or woman if you like, and Vance O Done 11, the far left! As we continue to page through the paper, we see that VIC KI U I TKE will be opening The Boston Pops Orchestra the following week. We also see that JON NEWMANN has been promoted to full Four Star General! Just below that article we learn that MARLON SKIDMORE and KEVIN NIELSEN are missing in action! They were on a top secret mission and have failed to report! All attempt to locate them have come up negative. In the Sports Section we see that DAVE DELCAMP and KEVIN WIKE will be in a sudden death play-off in the Masters Golf Tournament! A special note to be made here: KELLY WIKE has given up golf to become a drummer for the Barnum, Bailey, and Ringling Brother’s Circus. A little further down we see that JOHN HADLEY has just been picked to be the first round draft choice into the N.F.L. and also, we see that KEITH HELFRICH is being commissioned by the N.B.A. as a coach. The team he is coaching is yet unknown. Now that we are rested up, we can continue our vigil. As we leave across the street, we see that Brenda’s main competition, JANET ZEIMER, with her down home cooking, 'ummm smells good! Our next stop is good ole' BHS. Here we find SCOTT BILGES, present Spartan basketball coach, planning his exclusive Summer Basketball Camp for midgets.

5TEPH HEUTHER, Baker s new P.E. teacher and track coach, is trying to teach proper weight training techniques to future track itars of BHS. Downstairs in the wrestling room we see JIM HUNTLEY demonstrating the proper art of Happy Valleys to Baker’s wrestling :eam, what talent! The complex is undergoing extensive remodeling under the supervision of THADD O'DONELL, owner of a chain of health spas «cross Montana. During the summer. Thadd runs a very elite wrestling camp for specially talented and rich athletes. As we leave the school and head up-town, our fight is disturbed by a Boeing 707 preparing to land at Bethal Terminal, now owned JANELL LOSING, who also, in her spare time, gives flight instructions to beginners. When the 707 lands we see the airline itewardess. Miss MARIE PROKOP welcoming the passengers to the fine city of Baker, Montana. Finally we make it uptown where we stop at Dilworthes Unlimited to try on some of Tanya’s latest fashions. Across the street VIARK DUNN is trying to obtain a loan from MIKE DEXTER S bank! He wants to buy out the Goodyear Tire Company. Continuing through the heart of Baker, we stop at the Lakeview Shopping Mall and find that in addition to her computer stores SUSAN DAHLMAN now owns this mall. ■ As we wander through, we pause to watch JILL JENSEN on T.V. as she hosts. Solid Gold. On our way out we once again see the land of the Class of '85. Outside a book-store, we see SCOTT CARVER busily autographing a number of his newest Science Fiction lovels for fans. Inside we find a copy of People Magazine, with their exclusive interview with SUSAN ZACHMAN, editor of Fashion ind Beauty, the hottest magazine around. As we are leaving we bump into CHAD AFRANK. He is presently recovering from an injury he received while racing in his 4th :onsecutive Kentucky Derby! Speaking of racing we found that RONNIE GORDER and KEN MADSEN now work for Budweiser as their race car drivers. They will both be racing in this years Indianapolis 500. Before we leave Baker we have one last stop to make, DEAN WANG'S Dude Ranch. After winning the National Steer Wrestling hampionship for the 8th time, it became quite evident that he truly was the champion so he went into semi-retirement and opened up i Dude Ranch. As we circle slowly above we see Dean's foreman, LEROY TRONSTAD patiently trying to explain to a city slicker hat if he does go riding, the indians will not whoop down and attack him! Although that was our last stop in Baker, that is not the last of our awesome class. The rest are scattered at various places around the vorld. From Baker we head due East, in Boston, we find ROBERT BURNS working on a new formula for General Mills, who is ooking for some new break-through that will help increase the sales of Cheerios. From Boston we head South. In Washington D.C. ve find SHARON BREITBACH in hot debate, lobbying for ERA, Not far from there we see SHAWN SKOGSBERG lobbying for lid for the farmers. From D C. we must go even further south. We finally stop in Miami, Florida, where we find ANDY KREAGER masking in the sun next to the private pool of his ocean front resort. From Miami we head for Paris. On the banks of the Seine we see the world renouned artist, KENNY BRAUN, working on his next nasterpiece. It is here that we also run into DEBBIE SCHUELER who has opened a private school designed specifically for those who vish to become a secretary. And we're off, once again, this time we land in California, where we learn that ROY WANDLE has inherited a fortune from a long ost relative. What he plans to do with the money is as of yet unknown. W'hile we were in California, we had a chance meeting with JULIE CARLSON. She is a world class detective who moon-lights as a lental hygenist when business is slow. It is rumored that she has been hired by Mr. Schillinger to find RENEE McLAUGHLIN who's vhere-abouts is presently unknown. It seems that Renee is wanted back in the office of good ole’ BHS. As we bring our trip in the future to a close we have one last stop to make, this is to the lab of JAMYNE MAYO, a mad scientist vho is working on a dent-proof, metal alloy for her faithful, though battered little white car Gurdy . At last our trip is over and I think it's plain to see that the Class of ’85 will not soon be forgotten! ■ 27
