We are driving through the great metropolitan area of Baker. Montana, now the third largest city in the state with a population of 150,000 people. We see fina Tony Stark (Antonio StarJanez), starring in Cheryl Goodman's new production Prairie Winds'1! Cheryl is currently involved in a royalty suit but she is sure to win her case with Brenda Griffith as her lawyer. Penny Mcceage, Brenda's secretary, handles everything in Bren- dzs firm. The law suit is bemg filed by Mike Rohr, film production manager at Bakers newest l . station, K.BAK, which is owned by Icrn O'Connor. Jem's office is located on the 2?rd floor of the executive building built by Marvm Dahl Construction. As we look out the window we see Tim Barth still dm ing TH A1 green Dart. He is on his way to Bill Howe's garage to get his Mercedes hood ornament replaced. As we drive on wc sec the new Bon Marche Dept. Store manager Sherry Kcuerling and assistant vice pres, of the Chain Jennifer Williams, At the Baker Metropolitan Opera House we see Trccna Losing, world famous singer, accompanied by the Baker Symphonic Orchestra conduc- tor Mark Wood, Driving a little further we see Penny Wagtu ST; owner and manager of Penny-Wise Food Market, located throughout the metro area. Across the street is Jeff Knipp Sporting Goods Store where Pete Stanton and Pat Zink are purchasing uniforms for their basketball learns. Dave Stevens also comes along to pick up his golf clubs; forther up the street Brian Pinnow is running Pinnow I Computer Store, the largest store of its kind on this side of the lake. Driving along the lake we see Joe's Place on the LaEfce, one of the finest restaurants in the area. His special- ity-is pressed duck' with the ducks provided by Dave Mahon's Duck Farm. Later we see John Halmans and 4 Robert Rusiey purchasing brand new Hesston tractors from Rick Madlcr. our local Hesston dealer. Rick owns a chain of stores. 26

Now we’re on our way to sec how Stuart Celander. the local feed dealer, is doing. Here comes Lonnie Gorder and Jim Gookin, two of Baker's biggest ranchers to purchase some feed. Thev are excited to see an old fnend, Jim Ror. who is in town to compete in the Fallon 500 Race. At the race we see Kelly Heiser’s beverage truck, Heiser Bever- age's Inc. Robbie Pfeifle is a mechanic for Jim and keeps his car in tip-top shape. The doctor on call at the race is Dr. Stan Funk, head surgeon at the Sacred Heart Medical Cen- ter. Debbie Dunn is the head nurse on 4th floor at Sacred Heart. We now go to S.E. Montana College, where DeAn- na Herbst is cheerleading advisor the the S.E.M. Buffalos. At the new East Side High School we find Traci Wade as the superintendent and Cindy Fradenburgh as her secre- tary’. We see Kim Bremer and Tammy Holman discussing their children’s misbehavior with Traci and Robert Mer- edith. the principle, along with Cliff Christianson, the high school math instructor. Our car breaks dow n, so wc take it to Roger Hickey’s Repair Center, where we find Roger discussing plans with his secretary Lori Skogas Madsen. Kimo Kinsey, who is now Monsignor Kinsey at St. Pats Cathedral in Billings, is also there, asking Roger to donate a fleet of Lincolns to his parish. We finally arrive at good old B.H.S. where we find Doug Schell as the head football coach and math instructor As we leave town, we are greet- ed by Kim Gartner, the public relations man for Baker, who has done a great job as promoting Baker as the IN place to be.
