The Spartans started out well in the non-conference games winning four out of their first games. -WvwSi HHI As the season began, Baker could not win a con- ference game. As in most of the games Baker always started out quite well but time after time it was either turnovers, poor shooting, or not enough shooting that became Bakers' downfall. However, there were some bright spots in the season. Baker played good games against Poplar, Glasgow, Wolf Point, and Miles City. Baker ended the season with a 0 win and 14 loss conference record and a 4 win and 16 loss over- all record. Baker 56 . 48 Baker 37 . 52 Baker 58 . 46 Baker 58 . 46 Baker 63 . 51 Baker 65 . ...... The 1973-74 school year brought approximately 60 members to choir. This is the largest choir Baker High has ever seen. All in all it was a very successful year. The bass section was very good this year and they were featured in several of the concerts. Baker was proud to have one of the largest bass sections of all the schools at the District Music Festival in Glendive. The choir presented a cantata at the Christmas Concert, and at the Spring Concert they did a little bit of everything; even selections from the musical, Fiddler On The Roof. This featured Tim Jensen as a soloist. 81 Faculty Moods 82
