Administration Mr. Bruggeman, Mrs. Murphy, Mr. Tugg'e My congratulations to the Class of '71. You have the unique distinction of being the first class to graduate from high school knowing that in a short time you will be eligible to vote in national elections and a year later in state elections, as well as acquiring all the privileges of citizenship by the time you are nineteen years of age. How are you going to use this new privilege? Will you use it as a weapon to destroy effective leadership because of a whim? Will you use it as a threat to secure what you want? OR, will you bring to your new dignity a serious, informed yet humble point of view? This is the kind of new voter we need and we hope Baker High School has giv- en you some of the tools you will need to become this kind of citizen. You have the potential and the power.
