(continued) Going down Shanendoeh Avenue, a beautiful arrangement of flowers outside a store catches our eye. We go in and talk to Connie Larson, the proprietor, and Wanda Desper, her artist. While strolling down the avenue we pass Carole Lloyd’s shop, where she is having the grand opening for her beauty salon, Carole’s Creative Coiffures. The next shop is Mademoiselle Marilyn's. She carries JAN originals. The shop is owned and operated by Marilyn Fried, and Janis Kochel is the designer of JAN originals. At the end of the avenue sprawls Roger Rost’s huge supermarket. Bonnie Strahan is his book- keeper. As we are leaving the city, we stop at the clinic to visit with several of our friends working there. Howard Davis is a neurosurgeon, Joan Jensen a R. N., Sarah Weeks a private nurse, Jim Carlson a Lab-Technician, Elmarie Rasmuson a bookkeeper, and Rose Mary Breen a secretary. After leaving the city, we surface to continue to Japan in order to see the prize fights of Mike Correll, Jack Bohle, and Roy Dahl. Jim O’Donnell is their booking agent and takes care of their millions. As we alight in China we visit with Roger Sinclair and Ronnie Siring, who are promoting the sales of their Harley Davidsons. While going to the island of Pyrex, a recently discovered island, we eat at The Floating Fantasy of Fine Foods. It is owned and operated by Verna Chesmore, Alice Madler, and her husband. As we alight on the island of Pyrex we find Steve Schuler who has devoted his life to developing non-breakable chemistry equipment. He also has a contract with Lynnda Malcom to provide her with unbreakable lenses for her glasses. We then decided to see Switzerland and Rome so we turn around and go to the Alps. In the Alps we find Richard Metz on the Matterhorn still writing on his collection of jokes to be pub- lished when it is completed. The beautiful Swiss resort below us is owned by Erna Buerkle. We pick out a newspaper in the world's largest newsstand, which has every daily paper, and which is owned by Don Crow. We notice Connie Stevenson is the editor of The Earth Tribune, so we pick up the paper and read further. The comic strip, Teddy Red is edited by Marlene Gregerson, and we also read Dear Sheilah Fuchs in the women's section. In Rome we find that Graham Munsell has transformed the Parthenon into an exclusive bowling alley complete with a pink balcony around it. As Wayne is waving and smiling at our former classmate Dora Twiford, who is floating by in a sleek blue bubble on her way to Africa where she is a missionary, we are caught in an under current and Wayne chips his tooth so we alight at the Milkyway Dental Clinic where Bob Joyce fixes it and says, There! That will teach you. We then decide to head home again. On our return we find Barbara Celander vacationing at the Hawaiian Islands. We stop in California to visit with Susan Kohler, who's working there. We continue to Las Vegas. We enjoy Las Vegas tremendously because Dave Plummer shows us his casinos. When we arrive in Baker, Wayne returns to his Model T showroom, Vicki leaves to do the spring buying for her chain of stores and Becky joins Sue Tobin and Carolyn Deviney at their Flathead Lake resort. Debbie Plummer comes over from her Buffalo Ranch in Flathead Valley to catch up on things. Vicki Leischner Becky Hatton Wayne Brownson
