CLASS PROPHECY Do you know what has just been invented? Of course, not too many people know maybe because the inventor, Raymond Fried, hasn't a patent on it yet. This much can be said, however, this invention enables one to look into the future. As a trial for his new wonder, Ray has asked four of his classmates of '59, Loretta Powell, Marjorie Dahl, Tom Samsel, and Butch O'- Connor to gaze into this splendid thing. The first thing we see is a young lady, Levera Aldinger, advertising motor overhauls on KDIX television in Dickinson, North Dakota. Her own Pontiac has given her much experience in this kind of work. Jack McCauley's dreanfffhas come true as he is playing his trumpet in Carnegie Hall and foria pastime goes hunting foot-long hot-dogs at the Tastee Freeze. f Monte Plummer has the biggest newspaper on Pluto. He's going broke because the Pluto-ites are hard to teach to read. Reuben Scheuffele is still going steady with Dorothy Owens, both too shy to propose. Virginia Losing is now the owner of Virginia City, Montanag she just loves her name so she invested it in the best in the West. Venusis where the warm-hearted person who loves gaiety is found, a classmate, Carol Hatton. Stan Hurley decided to go into the profession of astromony on Water Tank Hill! James Morrow, the president of our class of '59 has been campaigning 10 years for the Presidency of the United States. Bonnie Karch is running a taxi at the Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, Colorado. Gordon Rustad doesn't have any hair left now. At Madison Square Gardens, Ralph Finch is trying for the title. Two stewardesses, Bette Moline and Carol Jafek are fighting over the pilot, Jim Helgeson. Dany Kohler is trying to push Elvis out of the picture with his latest -- Danny Boy. In the Rose Bowl with 3rd and goal to go, Duane Waterland, Larry Lindstrom, Dick Olson, and Gary Lindstrom are trying to beat UCLA. In Paris we see Lory Bruggeman giving a revue of the sack dress of Montana. In the Ozarks, Ruth Leischner is playing footsies with Ivan Losing. June Kreager, the domestic type, was married soon after school was out. A glance of the eye and we are in the Union of South Africa where Beverly Quenzer is teaching the cannibals how to use the hula-hoop. John Setera and Francis Griffith are competing against one another at the famous Sage -Brush Speedways. Wilma Lovec and Mary Mackay are the trophy queens at the Indianapolis Speedways. As we are about to quit our gazing and resume our normal way of life we hear a loud zoooom and look up in the sky to see Mary Howe and Joan Carmichael, flying their jet and breaking another world record.
