CLASS SONG Dear Baker High School We're leaving you. We know you'll miss us; We'll miss you too. Our years of waiting. We've worked so hard (?) To get those A's and B's and C’s and D's on all our report cards. Dear Baker High School, We'll not forget you each passing year; And someday we'll come back To see you as aging Alumni; But now we'll have to leave Dear Baker Hi. To the tune of April Showers Pauline Skidmore Erna Mae Wang Della Lutts Donna Olson CLASS POEM We’ll start with Boucher, he drives a nice car, And when you see him Betty's not far. Darlene, who is one of the smartest, Will someday make a darn good artist. Bernice C. last summer went on a spree, Guess what??? She got married, hee hee hee! Virginia Neary is a crazy thing. And now she has a diamond ring. Harvey Cyr is big and strong. But with Gretchen he is never wrong. Irene has taught her Grenstiner to sing the song with her name, She plans for his singing to bring them great fame. Genevieve is a little thing, But still she has quite a fling. Donna D. 's favorite hobby, Is going out with Bobby. Norma and Joy their batons they do twirl. And at the dances they really can whirl. Della plans to be a school teacher. If she doesn't first stand before a preacher. Allen Wildish is a shy little lad, But when it comes to girls he doesn't do so bad. Pauline Skidmore has a nice name, But soon it will be linked with one from Rhame. Lyle Seaman is a speed demon. And when he sees Quincer he really is beamin'. Bernice S. says she is going to beauty school. Who does she think she’s trying to fool??? Ronald has quite a fast line, And to all the girls he says Will you be mine? Martin O'Connor is our little guy, And around the girls he is very shy. Joyce and Florence are very good friends, And we hope their friendship never ends. Edward really works quite hard. Maybe someday Haskell will make him a pard. At 8:15 you hear a blast, Kirschten has gotten to band at last. In Chemistry Rost is not so bright, But in Mechanical Drawing he does all right. Melvin's future plans are to marry- Over the threshold who will he carry???? Gloria Plummer is not so tall, Still she doesn't do bad at all. David Weeks is our big boy, And he is always filled with joy. Erna Mae always seems quite gay, Even tho her boyfriend is quite far away. Pee Wee is not very tall. Maybe someday he’ll grow up after all. Rolph Tunby is our brilliant guy. He will make a good husband by and by. Phyllis Olson is a cute little lass. She giggles in almost every class. In classes the roll call the teachers check, Donna O. absent--no just late by hecki 1 Ashley Klauzer is a cute little blond. And wherever she is Larry is found. Leonard Wang is our Service guy. He will make out all right in the sky. Hazel is a tall gal. And everyone seems to be her pal. Donald C. works in the theater, And he is really a she hater. Corky Kreager is on our football team, And when he gets that ball he has a lot of steam. Now since the names have all been used, We hope no one will feel abused, Nor think 'twas done for ought but mirth. Before they let our class disperse. Bernice C. Virginia Gloria Florence

CLASS WILL To the faculty, we the Senior Class of 1951 leave all the headaches and troubles of graduating next year's seniors. To the Seniors we leave our ability to sneak out of school. To the Juniors we leave our lockers -- and KEEP THEM CLEAN. To the Sophomores we leave our exceptionally good manners. To the Freshmen we leave all the luck in the world. Walter Boucher leaves his magic touch with an auto to Mr. Luetkins. Carl is very happy now that Bernice leaves to be a full-fledged house- wife. Donald Christianson leaves to follow Bob Burkett's footsteps. Darlene Cretsinger leaves her drawings to decorate the halls forever. Ashley Klauzer leaves her Home Ec. Class to anyone who likes to eat. Harvey Cyr leaves to go to work on a farm. (Mengel's?) Donna Defferding leaves her ability to play while the cat's away to Jessie. Irene Hartse leaves her quiet manners to Jeanette Stark. Genevieve Hayes leaves her boyish ways to Doris (Butch) North. Johnson leaves with Joy. Clarence Kreager leaves to make Mr. Heftie very happy. Joe Kirschten leaves to straighten things up after each Halloween. Della Lutts leaves her dignity to Tom Biffle. What will he do with it? Eddie .eaves his masterly ways with women to Rodney Siring. Joyce Morton leaves her witty remarks to Sandy Hamilton. With her own, Sandy should have quite a collection. Virginia leaves her Pontiac for a Hudson. Donna Olson leaves her sisters. That's all she's got left. Phyllis Olson leaves her dainty feet to Laura. Martin O Connor leaves his heart breaking ways to Tom McGonigal. Gloria Plummer leaves her ways of getting by to Carol Irvine. Darrell leaves his blushing ways to Myra Corbitt. Lyle leaves his girlish figger to Doug Plummer. Hazel leaves to become the first woman president of the U. S. Florence Scoles leaves her devilish ways to Connie Gunderson, in Mr. Pease's study hall. Pauline leaves her awful temper to Russel Wiseman. Bernice Sleeth leaves Mr. Luetkins wondering how she ever made it. Ronald leaves Mr. Heftie. (Rue wanted to take him along but Warden wouldn't go. ) Rolph is the last of 8 Tunby's to leave from BHS. Erna Mae leaves so some of the other girls will have a chance. Leonard already left to help Uncle Sam. Allen W. leaves his vast height to Gary Hurley. Dalbert leaves his nickname to Ed Sikorski. (Pee Wee) Melvin is leaving, and by heck he's taking all he's got.
