J While seated In Mias Rambur's quaint little cottage, we three old maids (don’t take us wrong, we tried hard enough) got to gossiping and thought of our old class mates. We happened to hear a rumor not long ago about our old friend Ade- line Sherva. She was at the head of a oommittee for the eitermlnation of termites in one of the Minneapolis High Schools. The program, A Life With Riley Just came on and they made an import- ant announcement. They said that the long time Digger O’Dell had Just died and that the noted undertaker, Donald Kingsley was to take his place. He’ll be the last one to let us darn. While glancing at the local newspaper one of us noticed that Charlotte Steen, noted night club singer was suing editor, Jean Olson, for libel. She was represented by Maurice Tunby, Also on in court was a case brought against Junior Moline for the theft of Miriam Sooles's gold-platted bridge work, (We never thought it of you Junior.) The former Alioe Rost is now the proud mother of five little bundles from heaven. She had quite a time trying to quiet them in church on Sun- day and it detracted our attention from the very inspiring sermon of the Reverand Charles Saving, The Misses Clara Sohwindt, Buelah Repplinger and Carol Christianson added a great deal to the service with their rendition. They were accompanied on the organ by James Peterson. I received a letter the other day from Fern Carlson and she told me that she was in oharge of the Dead Animal Service in Plevna. On our last visit to Miles City we called on Slalne Barrett, who is now the matron of the hospital. When we walked in she was reprimanding Mary Ann Schettler for giving the wrong medicine to Cleo Barkley who was suffering from a head injury as the result of a rolling pin, the blow being administered by his ever loving wife. Elaine told us that the leading phy- sioian was Stanley Newbury and that Clyde Burns was driving the ambulanoe-- Ford that is! Change your mind, Clyde? We just reoalled that on our last trip to the Cities we met Frank Eokes. He told us that the name of Leona was only a memory. He had nis ups and downs in life, for he was running an elevator in the Sears Roebuok building. He also told us that our class Sheik, Eugene Klrsohten, who had reaohed the zenith of his ambition and held the honorable roll of Janitor. While on this trip to the Cities we went into the Carnegie Library and who should we see seated in the librarian’s ohair--none other than lone Mangel. (What happened to Harold?) We noticed one of the best Hers was written by Mary Ann Ideker. lone told us it was the story of her travels in the Jungle. Donald Martin went along with Mary Ann on this trip to get some very rare species of worms for nis zoo. He excels in stuffing animals for the museum in connection with the zoo. Anna Mae MacKay and Beverly Hufford are in partnership in a large firm manufacturing bubble gum. After having talked about all of our old olassmatea we decided to take a drive into the oountry. Ab we were driving along we notloed a little sheep wagon parked by the side of the road. A -curly head appeared in the door and emptied a coffee pot. As he raised hla head, we saw the smiling face of Buzzy Lentz. It waa now almost six o'olook and w© were very tired from having chat- ted for such a long time.
