Mask' Mr. Kent Smith teacher of Music Literature, takes a group of students on a tour of Europe every year. Mr. Smith is trying to schedule more concerts so that his choirs will have more performing ex- periencc. Mr. Carol Miller, band teacher, tries to play as many instruments as possible in order to help his students. He also has organized a stage band, pep band and foot- ball band. In order to purchase new uni- forms for his band members, he also or- ganized a fund raising campaign. Ms. Kathy Walden teaches Orchestra one period a day at BHS, then she reports to the junior high where she also instructs orchestra classes. This is her second year at Baker. A Vocational Industrial Arts class is made up of several courses. These in- clude Agriculture I, II, 8: Illg Shop Skills Ig Drafting Ig and Architectural Drafting. These arts also include Woodworking Ig 1 u Advanced Woodworking Ilg Wood Trades Illg ElectricityfElcctronicsg Art I Sz Ilg and Commercial Art. 3 l Q x . I if SXQN This year's Science classes consist of mainly the same projects which include, insect collections, bird-call recognition, animal dissections, and flower collections. There are also classes on chemistry and Physics. Teachers include, Alan McCullough, Chemistry and Physicsg Don Hunt, Biology Dennis Axness, Biology and Life Scienceg Vaughn Folkman, Physical Science. ,AO
