PAUL BAUGI-3 mi LL: miami riaosr President Vice-president Secretary STUDENT GOVERNMENT is controlled by the Student Council which is made up of the three executive associated student body officers and the officers of each high school class. This year there were 12 members and the advisers, Mr. Barnes and Miss Baylis. The main project of 1956-57 was the organization of a SateTeen Club, a safe driving club for teenagers. With the continued help of the Baker Police Department and the advisers, the Council hopes to establish the movement more firmly in the future. As in the past the Student Council also selected an inspection committee to make weekly tours of the school to report needed improvements. The Student Council was the host for the annual Fall Confer- ence of Region l. Through the hard Work of the members and fa! culty members the conference was very successful, Routine duties throughout the year were to allot the dances and concessions to different clubs and organisations and to dis- cuss any problems that arose concerning the school. It has been a very successful and interesting year of student government. PAUL BAUGE, A. S, B. President 5 Standing left to right-Iim Stewart, Lloyd Cole.
