Seniors HROUGH THE AMERICAN PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM, we have been trained to encounter our future more intelligently. fThe Class of '54 is expressing sincere gratitude to the community for the opportunity that we have had. under competent faculty and fine facilities, in better adjusting our- selvesl. The Class of '54 is the first class which will complete the three year high school in the new building. The wonderful moments of our school life will remain indefinitely in the memory of every one of us. We are very proud to be graduates of Baker Senior High School. Both in academic and extra-curricular activities the Class of '54 has shown capability for fine achievements. We were the nuclei of various organi- zations and athletic competition. The top event of the year was the class banquet and dance which were held on February 16. Altogether it was a great satisfaction, and it was the direct result of the fine cooperation of every senior. The class of the lilac and of green and silver will continue the struggle for the betterment of ourselves and of our society.
