'P . a---. fik' O . 'V'-lv Nil l Z S Q T yo enlor I lass W lll T0 ALI. lDltl'I'S: land underclassmenb We, the illustrious and brilliant class of nineteen hundred and forty six, being of strong body ami weak mind, do herewith, on this day, make our last will and testament. 'l'o our faculty, who has been both friend and foe, we leave be- hind all the knowledge that they have tried to teach us so that they may pass it on to the future generations. We have been in school for so long that they practically decided to make us the teachers, but we reluctantly leave our past behind us. 'l'o all underclassmen as a whole, we know we have set a great example and wish you to continue in our footsteps. After you have studied many long hours, and worked your fingers to the bone, then maybe you, too, will be as great a success as we are. To our beloved principal, we leave our ghosts to haunt the cor- ridors of Baker high, and all our carved up desks, battered-up text- books, and chewing gum wads we leave behind in the hope that they are put to good use. 'l'o all future Baker teams, we bequeath our good sportsmanship, athletic abilities, pep, and fine cooperation to guide all Bulldog teams on to victory. Individually, our bequests are as follows: .lim Adams wills his silent mania for studying to Lester Hanley. Bonnie Engum leaves her advice, Marry young, treat 'em rough, and tell 'em nothing. to Merlyn Evans. Don Allison leaves his little black book of girls' addresses to Chet Harrington. Louise Erickson bequeaths her good figure to Ruby Boersma. David Lanning bequeaths his excess height to Dick Eardley. Lila Mae Gibbs leaves her ability to collect engagement rings, as a hobby, to lrene ltaehor. .lean Fleelmoorl wills his ability to evade classwork to Albert Durgan. Darlene Stevens bequeaths her efficiency to .Iohn Mattes. Duane Emery leaves. The junior girls don't know what they're missing. llla Mae MacArthur wills her natural curly hair to Bonnie Ned- row. George Hague leaves his scholastic abilities to Glenn Bates. Elaine Arthur leaves her sparkling white teeth to .lim Calder- wood. Harold Cook wills his sweet innocence to Shirley Brox. Vera Wesl leaves to attend college with her brother. Milford Cazlwallader wills the hair on his chest to Sleepy Stevens. Helen Wells bequeaths her height to George Scott. Eva Weise bequeaths her chewing gum deposits under all desks to Lorna Smith. Rulh Ward leaves to join the Dupont Co. to work for better liv- ing through chemistry. Marvin Culver bequeaths his red ha-ir to any underclassman who has freckles to match. Anne Malles bequeaths her make-up kit to Betty .lean Taylor. Don llall wills his cowboy drawl to Kenneth Irby. Donna Meng leaves her black hair to Ora Hansen because she is rather light-headed . . Bob Lewis wills his crooked grin to Douglas Smurthwaite. Pal Moody leaves her studiousness to any brilliant sophomore. Lenore Moeller wills her position in the jr. high office to solne- one who needs work. Worth McManus leaves the library annex to Mr. Southerland. Margaret Mann bequeaths her ncat appearance to Larry Davies. Laura Oslwald leaves her ability in art class to Kenneth NVilson. Fred Palmer wills his soberness to .leff Metzker . Pal Parsons leaves her first trombone chair to Roland Campbell. Gerald Morin wills his blond curls to Dick Borgen . ttlonclnded on page 241
