MICHELLE CARTER Michelle plans to go to college and become a teacher. Her future plans also include traveling. During her four years at Baker High she has been active in Tri-Hi-Y, Acapella Choir, National Honor Society, Mu Sigma. In her senior year she was elected as vice-president of the Senior Senate. In addition to her club activities, Michelle was co-captain of the cheerleaders and attended Girls’ State. In her leisure time she enjoys fishing and swimming. LYNN CLARK Lynn graduated at mid-term after a busy four years at Baker High. She held memberships in Mu Sigma. Beta Club, FCA. the Spirit Council, and COE for which she was the club secretary. When Lynn was not attending school or working at the Baker Utilities office, she enjoyed playing tennis, jogging, and skating. Lynn’s future plans include entering Tulane Newcomb University after high school gradutaton. PATSY KELLY Dancing, reading, and playing the guitar are Patsy’s favorite pastimes. During her senior year Patsy was secretary of the Beta Club, secretary of Mu Sigma and held memberships in the Senior Senate and COE. She was also a pepster for three years and attended Girls’ State. Patsy will be attending a trade school after graduation.

Homecoming Queen Baker’s 1980-81 homecoming queen was Kim Smith, seventeen-year-old senior. Kim is an active member of the Senior Senate and has been a cheerleader for the past two years. Her ambition in life is to attend a business college and later become a secretary. She also looks forward to getting married and having a family later. When asked how she felt about being the homecoming queen, she said. I was shocked when they announced it. It makes me feel good to know that my senior class elected me. I only hope I can live up to their expectations. It has made my senior year the best, and I'll remember it always. Next year she will be unhappy to give up her crosvn. but she feels better when she thinks how excited the next homecoming queen will be. Kim’s hobbies include drawing, music, swimming, and jogging. She is also a member of FBLA, FFA, and FT A. 6
