DEDICATION 1958 Mrs. Ruth Knight Atkinson The Senior Class of Baker High School wishes to pay tribute to a truly excellent teacher. Many teachers here at Baker are worthy of that tribute, but among the group, one person stands forth in our thoughts. Mrs. Ruth Atkinson, through her willingness to guide inquir- ing minds, her insistence on high scholastic standards, and her genuine interest in each in- dividual student, has inspired all who know her. She is not only a teacher, but also a friend, a counselor. Because of her understanding wisdom, many have been able to make sound de- cisions regarding their future—decisions affecting the outcome of their lives, and because of this understanding, because of the important position she holds in each student’s heart, we dedicate the 1958 ARROWHEAD to Mrs. Ruth Knight Atkinson.
