EIGHTH GRADE HISTORY We, the eighth grade, have always been a small class. This year the class started with two girls: Eunice Beers, Doris Porter and three boys: Clyde Carrick, Byron Swedburg, and Forrest Frownfelter. We have such a small class, we were glad to have the two newcomers, Lois Carstens and Dean Lux' ford. A11 the class goes out for music. The ones that go out for junior high basketball are: Dean Luxford, Forrest Frownfelter, and Doris Porter. The class officers are: President, Eunice Beers: Vice-President, Forrest Frown' felterg Secretary, Doris Porter: Treasurer, Clyde Carrick, and Editor, Byron Swedburg. 4 FRESHMAN CLASS HIS TORY The greenies of 1947-48 pulled through initiation. Though being fed alum cookies and egg whites, they proved to be good sports. The first semester we had a class party, with Mr. Squires as our spon- sor. Basketball and music has called several freshmen, girls and boys, to its aid. With a membership of sixteen we have chosen our class officers as: President, Dean Bowers: Vice-President, Richard Fitz., Secretary-Treasurer, Jerry Richards.
