THE CLASS POEM This is a poem about the senior class Who no more teachers will they sass: And often the years go rolling by We'll still have memories of old Bagley High. I will tell you about us kids And how we put our teachers on the skidsg Some of us you know and probably others that you do not But l'l1 introduce them to show you what we got. jo Radebaugh is first on our list, There's seldom a question she'll never miss: She is hearty and makes lots of noise, And what's more she likes all the boys. And then there is Charlotte Bullock the queen of the town, All she can do is look at Squires and frown: And George told her he was getting a jeep And Charlotte grabbed him with a bound and a leap. And then there's a boy jim Jackson by description Who by the life he leads is stranger than fiction: He tells his mom he's going to shoot squirrels, Instead he fools her and takes out the girls. And Norma Luxford an addition so sear Came from Coon Rapids, just 13 miles from here. Boys don't interest her I've been told with a sigh, But the Bagley boys don't give up without a try. Joanne Finley is a girl that lives on a farm She came to school one morning with dirt on her arm. She loves to cause the teachers toil And it is really funny to see them boil. Lois Grassmeier is the star of our team But in classes you see she likes to dream: In Physics she has quite a spell And even tells the teacher to go to 'we1l. Marylee O'Connell is quite interested in a town 6 miles east But one day her mother said this foolish thing must cease. So now the jamaica boys come to our fair city To sing Marylee a cute little ditty. Darold Fitz is the last member of our force Lit a firecracker in school one day as a matter of course And when it went off with a loud roar He lit out like a rabbit and really tore. Now this is the class that really is good The only trouble is they are not understood.
