IIIVISIU The primary job of M Division aboard the Badoeng Strait is the operation and maintenance of the main engines in ac- cordance with the orders of the Commanding Officer, issued either directly or through his representative, the Officer of the Deck. Getting the turns out for the Skipper in spite of battle damage, or ordinary machinery failures requires good organization, technical knowledge and team work. This responsibility, as Well as operating and maintaining other auxiliary machinery units serving the engines, keeps M Division personnel busily turning to with calm efficiency. When we gotta' go, it's up to the men of M to see that we are able to do so.
