INSPIRES TALENT OFMUSIC. . . The Symphonic Orchestra displayed its musi- cal abilities in a Christmas and Spring Con- cert. The Marching Band performed at the football games and several public activities. A Band Council was formed to plan perfor- mances and to tend to the business affairs of the band. NEW DIRECTION IN THE FIELD Interests of the band members were awakened under the direction of Mr. Eugene Flemm. He organized three musical divisions: Pep Band, Symphonic Orchestra and the Marching Band. Pep Band's presence at football and basketball games guided the crowd in cheering the Rams. IST ROW: J. CHORUS HITS HIGH NOTE The Mixed Chorus is becoming more of a prestige activity within the school. Their per- foitmances included a Christ- mas and Spring Concert as well as their appearance in the Va- riety Show. The Chorus is under the direction of Mr. Flemm With M. Paxton, B. Woltering, G. Hudson, J. Stan- zak, M. Siemens, T. Taggart serving as officers. Long hours of practice go into any successful performance such as the execution of the Music Man Ensemble in the Vae riety Show.
