S en z'or Trip TRAVEL FOR FUNAND FACTS ... Seniors took their Class Trip during the Easter vacation. Highlights of their trip were Visits to New Orleans, the Astrodome in Houston, Texas and the Hemisphere in San Antonio, Texas. Junior and sophomore students took class trips during the summer under the supervision of Mr. Herbert Ho- linko, faculty member. Juniors Visited St. Augustine, Florida the Mainland, and Cape Kennedy. The trip was mainly for pleasure. They spent two days of fun in the sun at Daytona Beach. Sophomores Visited various points of interest in the New England States. They also traveled to Montreal and Quebec, Canada. Here they saw a few sites from Expo 67 . 5 S ophomore Trip

EXHIBITS OFABILITY . .. Students displayed their artistic talents in art shows held at the school throughout the year. Sister Mary Therese and Mrs. Logan Horral guided the students in their work. A few areas of art included in the show were: silk-screening, fashion designing, letter- ing, chalking, posters, paper maches and Qmmm mini pictures. t A Science Fair, in February, showed the ability of students to concentrate on proj- ects. Categories contestants entered under were chemistry, physics and biology. Students began work on projects weeks before the Fair. It took a lot of research, experimenting, and patience on their part. Guidance was given by the science teach- ers. Hard work and co-operation made the event a SUCCESS. M. Renneker, T. Osso, K. Bartels, R. Kuhn show their winning posters. Siudents display their mini pictures in the Mini Art Science Fair contestant demonstrates how a volcano errupts. S ow. R. Cook explains project to E. Hamann and T. A MA GNIFICENT PROM Theme of the Senior Prom, The King and I , was car- ried out with red and gold decorations. Prom king and queen were announced at midnight. Father Miller crowned Tim Hogan, king and Sister Vincent crowned Roseann McClellan, queen. Prom music and floor shows were provided by The Campus Owls from Miami University. All after-prom party was held at Vic's and a Sunday picnic was held at Hueston Woods. Credit for the success of the event can be attributed to prom moderator, Mr. Joe DeAngelo.
