PRESENTA TION 0F TALENTS . . . Cote d'Azur was the theme of the 1968 Variety Show. Cote d'Azur means Coast of the Blue , another name for the French Riviera Where each year musical and film festivals are presented. The sidewalk cafe atmosphere was carried out with French peasant girls waiting on the tables. French hostesses and Maitre D!s in formal attire escorted the guests to their reserved tables. Talented students and faculty participated in the pro- gram, while many others worked on behind-the-scene activities. The enthusiastic response to Cote d'Azur was characteristic of a Father Wintermeyer Production. A few of the girls who served pop and chips to guests. Paula Schutte sings Edelweiss with Mixed Chorus. Masters of Ceremonies, Rosanne McClellan and Tom Smith join with Mixed Chorus to sing the Welcome song, Willcomen- Bienvenue .

EXHIBITS OFABILITY . .. Students displayed their artistic talents in art shows held at the school throughout the year. Sister Mary Therese and Mrs. Logan Horral guided the students in their work. A few areas of art included in the show were: silk-screening, fashion designing, letter- ing, chalking, posters, paper maches and Qmmm mini pictures. t A Science Fair, in February, showed the ability of students to concentrate on proj- ects. Categories contestants entered under were chemistry, physics and biology. Students began work on projects weeks before the Fair. It took a lot of research, experimenting, and patience on their part. Guidance was given by the science teach- ers. Hard work and co-operation made the event a SUCCESS. M. Renneker, T. Osso, K. Bartels, R. Kuhn show their winning posters. Siudents display their mini pictures in the Mini Art Science Fair contestant demonstrates how a volcano errupts. S ow. R. Cook explains project to E. Hamann and T.
