eniv Officers: Row 1: M, Franzene, G, Donovan, B, Ledger, J, Featherstone. Row 2: T. Schinke. To begin their campaign to make their last year their best, the seniors elected their class officers: Mike Franzene, President, Bolb Ledger, V'ice-president, 'Tom Sclhinke, Trcas- urer, Joyce Featherstone, Secretary, and Greg Donovan, Ofiicer-at-large, These officers proved to be very capable, and helped to launch the class into several projects. The biggest of these was the Senior Dance, Safari , True to form, the class of '64 made it a dance that will not soon be forgotten-complete with pink elephants and stevved missionaries! Accoriding to those Who knovv, the dance Was the -best attended ever, and ac-cordinlg to the class advisors, it was the lmost efhciently put on Senior Dance. Of course, the teachers' combo 'Was a great attraction. They were terrific! This year's .senior class is so musically inclined that their class play was a musical, Babes in Arms. With that southern accent, the nasty told Aman, and all the lyoung love, the play couldn't help being a success. We cannot vvrite about the graduating class Without recalling some of their past achieve- ments. The class 'of '64 made quite a reputation for themselves as a group of kids who would ibuckle down and Work when the chips were doivvn. Working under idifliculties, the class initiated the Dogpatch and Marryin' Sam of Sadie fame, and with va Week to go, they put on one of the best proms Badger High. has seen. The class of '64 is quite proud of all its athletes. The class Was represented on two all- conference teams, football and basketfb-all, and several of the boys 'Won conference Wrestling honors. In addition to sports, the class excelled in musical talent. Many of this year'S sen- iors have taken major roles in all school plays in the past 'four years, and they have repre- sented the school very well at contest. In addition to the athletes and the singers, the class of '64 also has very good 'public speakers, adept journalists, curious science students, and outstanding scholars. Farewell, class of 1964, You have had a Wonderful four years. You have set high stand- ards for those of us you have left behind, We will think of you often as We follow in your footsteps. Page 16
