?rencl1 C106 The 1962-63 French Club officers Were: Presi- dent, Ann Flobergg Vice President, Mary Kullg Secretary-Treasurer, Joe Ronan, Program ' Chairman, Dan Deignan. . All French students had the opportunity of getting la French ipen pal. The purpose of this Was to improve their French and at the same time learn about the French Way of life. Mardi Gras is a celebration commemorating the last days before Lent starts. This is ob- served in New Orleans and France Where pa- rades, masquerade balls and other types of gay entertainment are held. Here at Badger, the French Club put on their own Mardi Gras. The students Wore costumes, refreshments were served and short skits Were given by the members.
