Sponsors for our Freshman year were Mr. Herbert Nelson and Mrs. Laura Phillips. For class officers we chose: Bob Scott, President, Sharon Martin, Vice-Presidentg Susan Greyer- beihl, Secretaryg Pat Kervin, Treasurerg and Judy Graham, Student Council Representative. Blue and silver were chosen as our class colors. ln the fall of 1954, we came back to school as Sophomores and our sponsors for this year were Mr. Thomas Case and Mrs. Laura Phillips. Our class officers we elected this year were: Dick Lee, President, Don Bowron, Vice-Presidentg Pat Kervin, Secretaryg Dan Gorney, Treas- urerg and Bob Scott, Student Council Representative. During our first two years, we sold Christmas decorations, sponsored a bake sale, had concessions at some football and basketball games, and some dances. All of these activities helped to increase our class tl'e8Slll'Y, which someday we would use for our senior trip. Sonsors for our Junior ,year were Mr. Thomas Case and Miss Thelma Allen. The annual J -Hop marked the beginning of the social season. The theme we chose in Stair- way to the Stars. We began the New Year with a magazine sale and this added much to our class treasury. In the spring we presented the Junior play, Captain Applejackf' It was a three BCI comedy directed by Mr. Dodge. We sponsored a few dances after the football and basketball games and sold refreshments. The final event of our Junior-Senior Banquet which we put on for the Seniors. We began our final year by electing the senior class officers: Ron Tschirhart, President: Ken Tetreau, Vice-President: Anita Thiel. Secretary: Doris Brzezinski, Treasurerz Don Bowron, Student Council Representativeg and the Senior Class Executive Officers, Ken Kelley, Jim Volk, Tyrone Lubeski, Avon Roe, Mary Guza, and Eleanor Elliot. Our sponsors for the final year were Mr. Dimmick and Miss Thelma Allen. We began our ocial year by sponsoring the Sadie Hawkins dance which gave the girls a chance to take the boys out. After this we presented the Senior play, entitled, The Little Dog, Laughed, It was a three act comedy, with double cast, directed by Mrs. Shubel. We had another magazine sale which aided our class treasury. After this wehad a paper drive. Mistletoe Magic became the theme of the Annual Christmas Banquet and Dance, Ken Kelley was the Master of Ceremonies. Our greatest social event of the year was the Senior Prom held in the spring. On June 1, we left for our eight-day trip to Washington, D. C. and New York. We received our diplomas in June, 1957 and departed from our four years at Bad Axe High.
