5...... s Baeone College begins a second century in Muskogee, it also welcomes a new generation of students. It is a generation filled with many of the same hopes and dreams as generations past, and yet it is like no other. It is a generation with unique tastes in clothing styles, movies, music, television and even food. It is a generation that lives against the hackdrop of a high tech world lilled with growing pains. The New Generation wore clothes of mainly Hawaiian V M. k Am., - , . 3, 5' A- fl-If print. It also donned only the darkest sunglasses, as eharaeterized in the movie Risky Businessf, Anything punk was popular, from spiked heels to spiked hair, and of course, anything 5'cool was hot. ' At the movies, the New Generation cheered on the reemergence of 60s soul singer Tina Turner, and watched as she put Mel Gibson to the test in Mad Max: Beyond Thunder- domef' It chopped its way through the jungles of Vietnam with Sylvester Stallone's 'if' lk its ? fi Y.. ,R A XC ,-.hx . at v wg., ' M3- kii ' 4 1 1.
