Bacone Choir: Hard work produces beautiful music Hours of rehearsal and study paid off in beautiful music for members of the Bacone College Choir. The Choir upheld a tradition of vocal excellence that has been built over many years. A highlight of the choir,s performance schedule was the Christmas concert held for an appreciative audience at Memorial Chapel. For Christmas, the choir performed Vivaldi's Gloriaf, Audiences at several churches in Muskogee and around the state, and at Bacone Hour heard the choir sing the religious music that has won the group national acclaim. lt required concentration and practice, but the results were well worth the effort. Tracy Knight was elected to serve as president. Galan Johnson was elected vice president. Treasurer for the class was Tammy Richards, and Lynelle Blackwater served as secretary. The Freshman Class tradi- tionally raises funds for, and sponsors, a Farewell Banquet and Dance for the Sophomore Class.
