 Thank You — From The Class Of 82 The staff of the Baconian 1982 has decided, on behalf of the senior class, to extend their gratitude to Mark Lander by dedicating this yearbook to him. As head advisor of the senior class we know his headaches have been many. Through bake sales, candy sales, flower sales, and potluck suppers he has supported and believed in the class, putting up with laziness, rowdiness, and just plain lack of spirit. We realize that many of our “typical” class activities such as the Prom, the Banquet, class rings, and graduation paraphernalia would have never been the successes they were had it not been for his no-nonsense manner and guiding influence. Of course Mr. Lander isn't all seriousness; although he is the first person to yell at the class for unsporting behaviour at an assembly he is also quick to make a pun or crack a joke to put you at ease in an otherwise hopelessly uptight situation. He is also famous for praising those who have made an effort to help the class, whether they are successful or not, making either the frustration go away or the sense of accomplishment stronger. With these contributions in mind we wish to thank Mr. Lander for his untiring efforts for the Class of 1982. u cS o p u cd S 5
