By invita- tion only The Science Club, oth- erwise known as the Mickey Mouse Club, is one of the most exclusive clubs at Bacon Academy. One can only join with a personal recommenda- tion from Mr. Roy. The members take part in such illustrious duties as test tube cleaning and counter wiping. Math Team Members Seniors: Tom Dagget, Andy McGrath, Debbie St. Jean, Laurie La- voie, Marita Taikkanen. Juniors: Lynnore Meyers, Cheryl Holt. Sophomores: Wendy Cone, Andy Roy. Competing regularly against eight rival schools, the math team maintained steady perfor- mance this year. The teams mod- est size belies its quality which makes advisor Fred O'Neal very happy. The library club, under the charge of Mrs. Von Roemer, dutifully takes care of library work: the card cata- logues and the Dewey Decimal Sys- tem. 26

The activities of dances, spirit week, pep rallies, and as- semblies, selling school buttons and student association cards involved the student body. The Student Council also supported the Red Cross Blood Bank sponsored by the National Honor Soci- ety.
