Advisors to the class included Mr. Norris, Mrs. Terris, Mr. Burns, and Mr. Va- lentini. The class began the year strongly by placing second to the seniors in Spirit Week. Class members participated in dramatic and singing groups, the Outing Club, and the FBLA. Freshmen were active in a great many sports: nine boys on the JV soccer team, and two of them played on varsity. Five made the girls soccer team. Six of the seven girls and two boys ran cross country. Three made the varsity Cheer Leading squad, but the entire JV squad was composed of freshmen. Five boys and six girls made the JV basketball teams, and two girls made the varsity basket- ball roster. On the wrestling team, five boys contended in light and heavy weight divi- sions.
