The End of a Perfect Journey” At last we reached our journey’s end; Our four years at Bacon are through. With cherished memories do we now spend Time reliving by gone days with you. We look with pride on those we see Those who have worked and won their way to fame. Each so different now from the early days of ’53 In knowledge gained, but as individuals still the same. We remember our initiation Which was the day of all our dooms. And we remember our own Bob Star of Magnolia Blooms. And we can still see Sue Our studious eleve And, of course, we see the Big Four” Lorrie, Judy, Nan, and Eve. Can't forget Fern and Bill And their morning race to beat the bell! But, most of all, we recall How they stole our hearts in Kiss and Tell.” We also see sixth period study. Quiet except for one small clan. Who always instigated the noise? Our own Natalie and Stan! We’ll always remember Sally in our Alley And the stars our own Doug and Anne. And ,too, we’ll remember Senior Arrivals Our own Roger, Tom, and Nan. In our class a joker? Of course! Not one we lack! We re blessed with not one, but two, Little Tony and Big Jack! Yes, we did accomplish our goals In the years we were here And we’ll never forget ’Though we’re far or we’re near. We’ll remember Gone about Girls And Neptune’s Fantasy And naturally, Joni and Her devotion to Elvis Presley! We'll remember Wendy’s cheering And Marie at sports. Surely we’ll not forget Larry and Art, And their performance on the courts. We’ll always associate Barbara with laughter, Roland and John with fun, And Marge and Laura with quietness. Have we forgotten anyone? Oh, Yes! Upon my list I see Two last names begin with K Each a great man one day will be. Know them? Both first names are Ray! Much more there was done In the years that we’ve been here. Much that brought us fame and fun And made these years to our hearts so dear. Now we all join together to say Thank you and its been nice to know you all. We’ll always remember the friendships and joys We found within Bacon’s walls. 15
