VARSITY Having completed a fairly successful basket- ball season this year, we proudly present a glimpse of some of our exciting games. This being our first year in the Central Val- ley League, we did rather well, considering our opposition. We emerged from the regular sea- son with eleven wins and eight losses. We then entered the C.I.A.C. Basketball Tournament, which was held at the University of Connecticut Gym, where we met and defeated our first op- ponent, Valley Regional, 69-44. A week later we were defeated by a score of 50-65, when we encountered Litchfield. The five seniors who have played their last basketball game for Bacon appear along with their teammates on the following pages We hope the pictures will stir the memories of those who saw the games and serve as a remembrance to our basketball players L?
