X CLASS HISTORY Having spent the eighth grade in Bacon Academy we entered our Freshman year with more confidence than might be expected Mr Bryan was our able bodied advisor this year and Miss Bogdanski greeted us every morning in homeroom The Seniors formally welcomed us into Bacon Academy by initiating us In the annual magazine drive we luckily escaped having to present the amboree Our class affair for this year was the Stardust Ball which was a social success Our contribution to the four one act plays was The Perfect Gentleman In September 1951 we were sophomores and had climbed one more step up the ladder With the assistance of Mr Yetman our advisor we presented as our class affair the Sadie Hawkins Dance Despite our untiring efforts we failed to Win the magazine drive coming in second In the four one act plays we presented Sis O The Ozarks Ding Carnival supervised by Mr Kuligowski was both a flnancral and social success The highlight of this year was the junior Prom entitled An Evening in Paris oan Berkowitz and Howard Lazinsk were crowned queen and king Much to our dismay we had to sponsor the magazine drive amboree this year Hst Shes a Man was our presentation rn the four one act plays Finally we had reached the top of the ladder Having occupied the same home room for the past four years Mrs Mxleski nee Miss Bogdanski was still greeting us in homeroom As our guiding lights this year we elected as oflicers Marvin Cohen president William Semkow vice president Annette Denora secretary and jean Ger hardt treasurer Mr Kuligowski was again our advisor We failed to win the magazine drive by a very small margin However we presented a most successful three act play entitled Good Night Ladies Shortly after one of our class members Janice Brown left the seniors and Bacon to become Mrs Robert Adams and they now reside in Cali forma A highlight of our senior year was the Washington trip Contrary to tradition we departed the week previous to spring vacatron And now with Baccalaureate and the Senior Banquet in the past we have fond memories of our days at Bacon Academy and look forward to Graduation and our entrance rnto the outside world 7 C 0 .
