STUDENT CQUNCIL The Student Council of '42 deserves much credit for the splendid work which it did this year. XVith Bob Hugge as president. and Mr. Oyer as supervisor, the group sponsored a Burro Ball game, donating the proceeds to the Red Cross, and settled many probl lems. among them, noon-dancing. DGMECON CLUB With Red Cross sewing, the May style show. teas. Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets. this club managed to keep busy throughout the year. Miss Foote was the Taculty adviser, and the ofhcers were as fol- lows: Pres.. E. VVagnerg V.l7., Ruby XVells: Sec.. I. Tichansky: Treas.. lean Broglie. COMMERCIAL CLUB The girls of the Commercial Club, tliq rected by Miss Henze, did a line job ol' at- tending to all secretarial work around school. Not overlooking the All work and no playi' theory, they ttirned the work into enjoyable tasks. We agree with their motto. There's nothing like a pleasant. elli- cient secretary. Tl-TE WATCH VVhether it was cold or hot, stormy or clear. these boys kept watch for aerial aetivf ity over Babylon ever since Pearl llarbor. During free periods they took turns climb- ing the ladder into the tower and out onto the roof. VVe hope their purpose will soon be fulfilled.
