JUNIQR CLASS The lunior Class proutlly asserts that it has atltletl something new to the entertain- ment worltl of B.H.S.. for in the heginning ol' the year. it heltl the lirst Treasure Hunt ever to he organizecl here lor the stutlents. XVe might atltl too that it was hoth a social antl a financial success. Later, in May. the class sponsoretl the tratlitional Iunior Prom which was naturally one ol' the season's highlights. The class chose. almost unanimously. Ierry Brown as commantlerkin-chief for the sec- ontl consecutive year. Boh Patterson was elected vice-presitlent: Ruth Davis became head scrihe, anal Al I.'Hommetlieu was singled out to heatl the treasury tlepartment. SCDPHQMORE CLASS The Sophomore Class startetl its school year with a tie for its top offices. It resulteal in the election of Frank Ferraro as presitlent antl Iames Whittaker as vice-president. Loretta Brown and Ianet Bulk were electetl secretary antl treasurer. respectively. During the first part of the school year the class tlitl not accomplish much. hut follow- l 9 ' F l ing the Christmas vacation. they presented a variety show, Sop is-11-I oppin, on e aru- ary 14. The show was proclucecl in two parts. There were approximately twenty acts. which gave practically the entire class an opportunity to participate. All in all it was a good second year at B.H.S.

FRESHMAN CLASS The Freshman Class. headed by President XVally Brown and his cabinet. consisting ol' Pat Vandervelt as vice-president. Lois Collins. secretary. and Betty loan Bates. treasurer. sponsored two dances. A Get Acquainted Dance was given in the early part ol the year. and during March. a V lor Victory Dance was otlered in tune with the times. Students from the outlying districts helped to compose one ol' the largest classes in freshman history. Not only tlitl the class ol' ' ' take wart in athletics. but thev also were , . -tv I . very active on the Ptlllfhfl' Tiller. This class seems to be right at home at l5.H.S. even after its short stay. JUNIQR l-HGH HalJylon's Iunior High had an eventful year with a good part of the students partici- pating in several activities. To keep the students orderly. the lunior High Student Council appointed a police force with Mr. Misner as supervisor ol' both organizations. To keep the students happy, Miss Krutenat conducted the Glee Club. To keep the students busy. Miss Viox led the Craft Club. Qliy the way. we're very sorry to learn that Miss Viox won't be with us next year.j To keep the students light on their feet. Mrs. Pullis headed a Dance Club. and for defense. Ll Knitting Club. To keep the students entertained. Mrs. Field and Nlrs. North- rop arranged assemblies throughout the year. .,.,.
