U. S. MINTED 250th SOUVENIR MEDALS AWABDED The Mobile Press Register proudly portrays RONNIE PHELPS, student of the Azalea Road Junior High School, re- ceiving honor for designing the special medallion used in the celebration of Mobile's 250th birthyear. It was his original idea. Pictured Mayor Henry B. Luscher Cleftj and Mr. Julian deOvies fcenterj, president of the anniver- sary celebration, city officials bestowing the honor. The medallions were made by the government. Mayor Luscher gave his to the Mobile Public Library. Ronnie is a coin collector. There's nothing like the Participation in civic affairs adds to Library for good training growth in citizenship in Cllshers for the Band Concertj citizenship
