we could see Margaret We were only able to talk for a few mrnutes Our next stop was the crty of New York We had not planned seerng anyone but whrle walkrng along astreet we were very surprrsed to see rrght rnto the ocean We all agreed that they were experts rn therr frelds We would have lrked to stay longer It was gettmg toward the end of our vacatron and we had to head back East On the way back we vrsrted many hrstorrcal and rnterestrng srtes We stopped rn Illrnors and vrsrted BONNIE THAYER who was the Dean of Grrls She told us she loved her work very much and had many rnterestrng thrngs to tell us about her work She was a very busy woman so we drdn't keep her long We drove north next We went to Detrort smce we had read rn the newspapers that the Detrort Trgers were playrng the Cleveland Indrans We had already know that the two managers were our classmates The manager of the Detrort Trgers wasl-IA ROLD SCI-IOMBURG and the manager of the Cleveland Indrans RAMON SICKMILLER We drdn't really care who won because two of us were for the Trgers and two of us were for the Indrans The game lasted 18 rnnrngs but the Indrans frnally won by one run As we left the ball game one of the Thunderbrrds started actrng up We had to take rt to a garage just afew hundred yards away We made rt to the garage and then rt stopped completely We were very embarrassed to frnd that the on.ly thrng
