Our seventh grade class started the year with 57 pupils in September, but it now has 58 pupils. Linda Schilt moved to Oakwood, and we gained two new pupils: James Moore and Marie Manzancerez. There are now 30 girls and 28 boys. We elected class officers, and they are as follows: President ..... . . . Jerry Stevens Vice-President . . . . . . Ronnie Leaders Secretary ............. Ann Sockman Treasurer ............... Danny Neff Melvin Retcher was elected as a student council member, and Mr. Runyan was elec- ted class advisor unanimously. A lot of us didn't think it would be fun in the seventh grade because we would have to change classes, and we wouldn't have our recesses. I guess we've all changed our minds now and like it very much. We decided to exchange gifts for Christmas at 50 cents a gift. We have 18 girls and 26 boys. Our new members ate: Karen Dun- gan, Alice Schwartzengraber, Mary Lou Vance, and Lewis Meyers. In our first class meeting we elected Fred Barnes as our student council representative and Mr. Himmeger as our advisor. In our previous meeting we decided to go on a paper drive this spring, and collect tax stamps for our senior trip. Our subjects this year are: arithmetic, Eng- lish, geography, and history. Eleven of our students are in senior band. Several of the boys are on the junior -highbasketball squad, and Karen Dungan and Pam Kemper are cheerleaders.
